Majors’ defense team was extremely unhappy with the jury’s decision. They are grateful that the actor was found not guilty of two counts of serious assault with intent to cause injury and nuisance. However, they expressed surprise at the fact that Majors was still found guilty of one count of reckless assault in the third degree and one count of misdemeanor harassment.
Majors’ attorney, Priya Chaudhry, said of the verdict, “It is clear that the jury did not believe Grace Jabbari’s story about what happened in the SUV because they found that Mr. Majors did not intentionally cause her any injuries. We are grateful for that.”
