The major driver’s claim comes after the actor’s courtroom appearance last week, which seemed to suggest he physically assaulted her. In the trial, text messages between the couple were read publicly, but the texts seemed to implicate Majors as the intruder.
“I’m concerned that you don’t have perspective on what could happen if you go to the hospital,” Majors texted Jabbari in September 2022. “They’re going to ask you questions, and because I don’t think you’re really protecting us, it could lead to an investigation even if you’re lying and they suspect something.”
In the message, the actress also stated, “It’s just fake,” but it’s not clear what she means by “fake.”
Jabbari, who read the text aloud to jurors on Friday, appeared determined not to expose her ex-boyfriend to the law after apparently inflicting head injuries.
“I’m going to tell the doctor I hit my head,” Jabbari cried as he read the message aloud in court.
Moved to tears, she was later helped by Assistant District Attorney Kelli Galaway to continue, “I’m going to tell my doctor I hit my head if I leave. I would give it another day, but I can’t sleep and I need stronger painkillers. That’s it: why would I tell them what really happened when I clearly want to be with you?”

In their text exchange, Majors also threatened to take his own life because Jabbari apparently chose not to go to the doctor to hinder the investigation.
In the text, Majors wrote, “Last night, I considered killing myself rather than going home. I need love too. Or maybe I’m a monster and a horrible man; I don’t deserve it. And I should kill myself. This way , my existence is miserable. I want to die.”
The 30-year-old dancer has previously opened up about their relationship, claiming Majors began exhibiting a “cruel and manipulative pattern” after a while in their partnership.
He cited a 2022 incident where he was scolded by the actor for attending the Glastonbury festival with friends. At the time, the actress reportedly “scared” her with her statements about ex-boyfriends and criticized her heavily for going to the event.

“Mr. Majors’ lifelong hard work paid off and his career seemed unstoppable until […] she ended her relationship with Jabbari, and she made these false allegations,” said her lawyer, Priya Chaudhry. “[This is] a man who spent 30 years working hard to get where he is on March 25. A man with the world at his fingertips.”
