Is Josh Cephus Related to Quintez Cephus?
Despite sharing the same last name, Joshua Cephus and Quintez are often mistaken for siblings, a misconception fueled by their shared interest in football careers. There is no family bond between them. Quintez Cephus, son of Lakesha and Andre Taylor, has two siblings. Quintez’s upbringing was unique, as he grew up in a city of about 150,000 people in central Georgia.
Although his father, Andre Taylor, does not live with the family, he remains involved in his children’s lives. Taylor is a high-ranking member of the Westside Gangster Crips street gang, authorities have confirmed. Despite his background, Andre Taylor made sure that his son did not succumb to the same lifestyle hardships. Unfortunately, tragedy struck on April 3, 2017, when his 39-year-old father was fatally shot in the head by an assailant. This heartbreaking event was a pivotal moment in Quintez Cephus’ life, influencing his path in ways that went beyond football.
