The international war correspondent who first exposed the beheading of Israeli children by Hamas stood by his reporting on Wednesday as he recalled some of the atrocities he saw “with his own eyes” as doubts arose on social media.

“It’s so horrible and I hope it’s not true. And I see how those images and words are hard to understand because it’s hard to understand how anyone could commit such a heinous and despicable crime. But that is what happened in one of the kibbutz communities.”
When Travis and Sexton played sound bites from commentators calling the report false, Zedeck balked.

“You know, it’s sickening, really, people asking, ‘Where’s the baby? Why don’t you show the baby?'” he replied. “Is that something anyone wants to see first thing with their own eyes? Because after the graphic images I saw of only blood-soaked children’s beds, I didn’t think I would be able to withstand that cruelty either.”
He praised the Israeli soldiers who had to carry the child’s body into an ambulance and conveyed the brutality of the killing.

A spokesman for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu told CNN Wednesday that babies and children were found with “severed heads,” in southern Israel.
President Biden also said on Wednesday he saw photos that support the claims of dismembered bodies.
“I never really thought that I would see and have verified pictures of terrorists beheading children,” he said — however, the statement was later followed up by the White House.
Neither the president nor US officials have seen the images or independently confirmed reports of beheaded children, a spokesman explained, according to the Washington Post.
The White House said that Biden based his statement on claims made by the Israeli prime minister’s spokesman and media reports coming out of the Jewish state.
