During the show, he revealed that his struggle with an age-related eye condition wasn’t always there and he had to learn to overcome it and still be productive.
The “Casino Royale” actor revealed that he previously found it very easy to memorize lines. Actor Hugh Jackman then asked her if she could remember lines from past films, to which she replied, “I can do the whole ‘Twelfth Night’ for you right now.”
The Golden Globe award-winning actress, whose acting career spans more than six decades, is known for her versatility in several films, including “Philomena,” “Murder on the Orient Express,” and “Goldeneye,” to name a few.

Dench insists that she had to improvise and use other means to make sure her eye condition and inability to memorize the script didn’t get in the way of the work that needed to be done.
During a 2021 event for the sight foundation, a London sight loss charity, Dench explained that she had to adapt to get by by relying on her friends and always trying.
He said, per Caretaker, “I had to find another way to learn lines and things, which was to have my wonderful friends repeat them to me over and over again. So I have to learn through repetition, and I just hope people don’t notice too much if all the lines are really hopeless!”
The 88-year-old actress described the condition as “very upsetting” and noted that it appeared to be hereditary as both mother and daughter had to see a doctor about it.
Judi Dench’s New Movie ‘Allelujah’
Elsewhere on the show, the “Tomorrow Never Dies” actor opened up about his upcoming film “Allelujah,” explaining that it is an adaptation of Alan Bennett’s play of the same name.
Dench explained that she plays Mary Moss, a librarian with a thing for her doctor, as she went on to agree that it “is a great joy for the NHS.”
An excerpt from the film has been shown, and Mary (Judi Dench) can be seen getting used to using a technological device. The film will release on March 17, 2023.
