The professional dancer and actress can’t wait to return to the ballroom — this time as a host.
“Honestly, it’s been full circle to be able to come back from being a dancer to a judge and now co-hosting with Alfonso,” Hough told ET. “It’s great. Honestly, it’s just family again. I’m just excited. I can’t wait to see everybody get back on the dance floor and get our groove on.”
Shortly after the news broke, the “Dancing With the Stars” pro spoke out, expressing her excitement to be the new host of the ABC reality competition show. “It’s an honor to rejoin ‘Dancing with the Stars’ as a co-host,” Hough told Variety when the news broke. “The show has held a special place in my heart over the years and the different roles I have had the privilege of being a part of. My family has been an incredible team that livens up the ballroom every night for the past 17 years. I am so excited to be reunited with Alfonso, Carrie Ann, Bruno, Derek, incredibly talented professionals, and amazing actors on the dance floor.”
