The five-part documentation is “called Jussie Smollett: Anatomy of a Hoax, will air on Fox Nation starting Monday and the Osundairo brothers are in it telling their story. The shared clip revealed the brother wanted to give a pretty detailed explanation of what happened with Jussie.
Fans (or haters) of the actor will remember that in 2019, Smollett went into the police station and filed a report stating that he was attacked while on his way to Subway at about 2 a.m. It was eventually revealed that two men had been identified. for his attackers and their stories do not match Smollett’s but in an odd way.
The brothers now share what really happened, from their point of view, of course, because Smollett’s story is not the same.
The Osundairo brothers complain about the wait

“We made sure we got there at 2am. We didn’t have a phone because he didn’t want us to bring any,” recalled one of the brothers, Abimbola.
“So at 2 in the morning, he was nowhere to be found. He wasn’t there, so we were like, ‘Shit, what are we doing?’ We have no way to contact him. He has no way of contacting us. So, we waited here for about … four minutes.”
The brothers remember how cold it was waiting for Smollett to round the corner and having to remember to say that one important line.
“When we cross the street, we say, ‘Hey,’ to get his attention. ‘Hey, n—–.’ He turned, looked at us, and that’s when we started yelling the famous curse he wanted us to yell. ‘Hey, aren’t you ‘Empire’ f—-t?’”
The brothers were actually on the street where the alleged staged attack took place. They bravely bring the camera back to the corner that changed their lives forever.
Jussie Smollett Wants to Look Tough

Abimbola recalls that the fight was important because Smollett had to appear as if he was fighting.
“We started wrestling, moving, and then I pulled him to the ground. He wanted it to look like he was fighting. That was really important to him because he said, ‘Hey, don’t just beat my ass. Make it look like I’m fighting and stuff.’ “
Obviously, we all know how this went for Smollett he was charged with disorderly conduct, and in March 2022 he was sentenced to 150 days in jail, he only served six days in jail and shared at the time that he would appeal.

During the trial, Smollett and his legal team tried to accuse one of the brothers of being a homophobe and the other of being an “unhappy ex-lover”. He was also questioned about why he paid the brothers $10,000, he said it was for a personal nutrition and training plan.
The whole ordeal is confusing for those interested in following it and even Smollett and the brothers seem confused at times. Maybe this documentary will clear up some of the confusion.
