Hailie Jade Scott has been asked about her famous father Eminem on many occasions throughout her life. During her first “Ask Me Anything” segment on her podcast, “Just A Little Shady,” she decided to answer a question about how she feels when people ask questions about her father.

Picking the First Question to Answer on the Podcast
Scott started the segment by saying, “So we’re going to do a segment where I answer the questions that you ask. So I did ‘Ask Me Anything’ and I got a lot of questions, a lot of good questions, but I felt like a good first question to answer, given the many questions about my father, the first question I felt like I should answer – ‘Am I trouble me when I’m asked about my father?’”

Scott Explains Why It’s Not A Yes Or No Answer
The podcast host said he decided to tackle that question first because many of the questions are actually about his dad. “The best way to say this is yes and no.” Co-host and childhood best friend Brittany Ednie jokingly replied, “Obvious answer.”
He went on to explain why it was a yes and no answer. “But honestly, it comes to a point, so I obviously expected it and there are certain things that I can understand why people would really want to know, like anybody when you’ve grown up like half in the spotlight,” he said. “But when it got past that point though I was like, I’m also a person, I think I have more to offer than just my dad, so it gets kind of complicated because like I get it, but then like I said. after a certain point, i won’t speak for anyone. I won’t answer things I don’t specifically have an answer to. So I mean, I guess, yes and no. Is that a good response?”
Scott continued by describing what it was like when he was growing up. “I feel like growing up when it would happen, I would be more disturbed by it because I was like why do people care? Like I don’t know, because I’m young and I don’t fully understand the situation,” he said. “I’m just like that dad me, like I didn’t ask you about your father.”
