‘Just take me to jail,’ NJ man caught sitting on police cruiser with meth pipe begs cops

A New Jersey man was caught sitting on the hood of an unmarked police cruiser with a meth pipe — and begging police to lock him up, authorities said Thursday.

Cody Zeigler, 27, was perched on top of a police car in the Hackettstown Police Department headquarters parking lot around 11 a.m. Wednesday when an officer confronted him, police said.

“Take me to jail,” Zeigler pleaded, according to police.
