After Hailey opened up about her mental health and faced her “toughest moment” in 2023, a source revealed to Us Weekly that her husband, Justin, was heartbroken to see his wife struggling emotionally.
“It breaks Justin’s heart to see Hailey struggling emotionally the way she has these past few months,” the insider said, adding, “He loves his wife more than anything and knows she has a heart of gold.”
Hailey revealed that she faced “some of the saddest, hardest moments” of her adult life in the immediate aftermath of her fan-fueled feud with Selena Gomez.

The 26-year-old hinted at the alleged rivalry with Selena in his Instagram story, where he admitted to sometimes using humor to mask his pain. “I like to make jokes about how I feel because sometimes it’s easier than admitting I’m having a hard time,” she wrote.
He admitted that he had been “emotionally fragile” following his rumored feud with Selena, who publicly defended him.
“But to be honest, since 2023 started, I’ve had the saddest and hardest time I’ve ever experienced in my adult life, and my mind and emotions are fragile, to say the least,” shared Hailey.
