Justin Timberlake Apologizes To ‘Nobody’ Amid Britney Spears Feud

It looks like Justin Timberlake has absolutely no intention of apologizing to Britney Spears following the October 2023 release of his memoir “The Woman In Me.”

In her book of stories, the Pop Princess recalls how he pressured her to terminate the pregnancy and included more allegations of infidelity. However, he apologized for the backlash he received twice, insisting that he never meant to “offend” anyone with his words.

The “Cry Me A River” hitmaker recently released a song called “Selfish,” which is the same name as a track on Britney’s 2011 Femme Fatale album. After her song started charting higher than her song, she took to Instagram to issue yet another apology and tell her followers that she loves her new music.

However, during a performance in New York City on January 31, Justin revealed that he has no plans to return the olive branch. Instead, he doubled down, insisting that he had “no one” to apologize to.

Justin Timberlake Refuses To Apologize To Britney Spears Following Her Apology

Britney Spears shared a message on Instagram and praised Justin Timberlake’s new song:

“I want to apologize for some of the things I wrote in my book. If I offend any of the people I really care about, I’m really sorry… I also want to say that I’m in love with Justin… pic.twitter.com/NmPcRd4XUC

Over the weekend, the “Oops!… I Did It Again” singer took to Instagram to say that she loves Justin’s new music and issued an apology for what she wrote in her memoir.

“I want to apologize for some of the things I wrote in my book. If I offend any of the people I truly care about, I’m terribly sorry… I also want to say I’m in love with Justin Timberlake’s new song ‘Selfish,’” she wrote in the caption. “It’s so good and why is it that every time I see Justin and Jimmy together, I laugh out loud??? Ps ‘Sanctified’ is also wow.”

While some fans speculated that she had been “hacked,” a source later revealed that her support for her ex was genuine. “Honestly he just wanted to wish him well. He really likes the song,” an insider told People magazine. “He is a good hearted person.”

“He really likes good music. He’s curious about [Timberlake’s] new song, and he really likes his new music,” added the second source. “Britney has a good heart and is full of praise when she likes something. He always speaks his mind. That’s what’s special about him.”

That’s Not The First Time Britney Apologized To Justin

A few days before “The Woman In Me” was released in October 2023, the “Toxic” singer explained the “purpose” behind her book and clarified that she did not mean to “offend anyone” with her book.

“The purpose of my book is not to offend anyone in any way !!! That was me then … that was the past!!!” he started “I don’t like the headlines I read…that’s why I quit the business 4 years ago!!! Most of the books are from 20 years ago … I’ve moved and it’s a pretty clean slate from here!!!”

“I’m here to set it that way for the rest of my life!!!” he continued. “Anyway, that was the last one and s— happened !! This is actually a book that didn’t know to write … although some may be offended, it has given me closure on all things for a better future !!!”

“Hopefully I can enlighten people who feel alone in most cases or hurt or misunderstood !!! Again, my motive for this book is not to quote my past experiences that the press did and it was stupid and stupid!!!” he concluded. “I’ve since moved on !! #TheWomaninMe.”

Justin Timberlake Looks Like He’s Rejecting His Apology In New York City

While performing in New York City on January 31, Justin said, “I want to take this opportunity to apologize to anybody,” despite Britney’s apology.

It looks like he may have changed a bit since performing at the Fontainebleau in Las Vegas last month. Before performing “Cry Me A River,” Justin said, “There’s no respect.” A source told the Daily Mail at the time that while the “Crossroads” actor “appreciated” the gesture, he never reached out to apologize directly.

However, given his recent statement in New York City, fans have their doubts as to whether the two exes will reconcile.
