There are a lot of people who are unhappy with Justin Timberlake after reading what pop star Britney Spears had to say about him in her memoir, “The Woman In Me,” which was released last Tuesday.
The two dated for nearly two decades, from 1999 to 2002, but in her memoir, the now 41-year-old pop star reflected on the alleged infidelity and even an unplanned pregnancy in her book. Although the “Cry Me A River” singer disabled comments on his Instagram page to try to escape the backlash, fans began bombarding the Instagram page of his wife, actress Jessica Biel.
It looks like “The Social Network” actor is looking to escape the limelight for a while, taking his wife and two kids to Mexico while waiting for the heat from Britney’s memoir to blow over.

The former *NSYNC frontman was spotted landing in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, on Monday. Ironically, it’s a popular hotspot that Britney Spears likes to go to once in a while. In a photo obtained by the Daily Mail on Monday, Justin was photographed exiting a private jet wearing a white short-sleeved shirt, gray sweatpants, white sneakers and a baseball cap.
She held her youngest son, Phineas, 2, as she walked from the plane to a waiting golf cart. His wife, Jessica Biel, and son Silas, 8, were not pictured, but they were reportedly with the “Mirror” singer for a family vacation. This is the first time the 42-year-old singer has been photographed since Britney’s memoir was released last Tuesday.
It looks like Justin is trying to keep a low profile and not stir up any more drama, as a source told Page Six that he disabled comments on his Instagram posts because of the “hateful and disgusting things people are saying” about him online. The backlash has been so bad that Lance Bass even took steps to ask fans to stop.

On Saturday, October 28, TMZ caught up with Lance at LAX, who said he hasn’t read Britney’s memoir yet, but plans to read it on the plane. When asked about the backlash Justin faced, Lance said, “I mean, everybody has their own opinion. I just feel the world is so full of hate right now that we need to practice some forgiveness. Britney did. So let’s take notes from it.”
“Everyone has the right to tell their story. He did, and you know, I hope the fans can, once again, find forgiveness, right?” he continued. When asked if he had spoken to Justin, Lance replied, “I’m not going to talk about my conversation.” He also revealed that there are no plans for a new *NSYNC tour or album, but he’ll make sure it’s possible in the future!

Unfortunately for Justin Timberlake, not everyone seems to be quick to show him forgiveness. Britney’s high school boyfriend, Donald ‘Reg’ Jones, 45, had a very strong reaction to learning that Britney and Justin had an unplanned pregnancy during their three-year relationship. “Is it a man who will ask a woman to have an abortion? Then he’s a piece of s— in my book,” Jones told The Post on Friday, adding, “My heart goes out to him.”
In an excerpt from “The Woman In Me,” published by People magazine a week before the memoir’s official release, the “Toxic” singer revealed that she had an abortion at home after Justin made it clear “that he didn’t want to be a father.”
“It’s a shock, but for me, it’s not a tragedy. I love Justin so much. I always hope we have a family together one day. This will be sooner than I expected,” he wrote in his memoirs. “But Justin is definitely not happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were too young.”
“I don’t know if that was the right decision. If it was left up to me, I wouldn’t do it. But Justin was so adamant that he didn’t want to be a father,” she continued, adding, “To this day, it’s one of the most painful things I’ve ever experienced in my life.”
