Pop star Britney Spears has released many new stories about her relationship with Justin Timberlake.
While fans knew they dated from 1999 to 2002, they didn’t know the former couple went through an unplanned pregnancy. On Tuesday, an excerpt from “The Woman In Me” revealed that the “Cry Me A River” singer “isn’t ready to be a father” and is “not happy about the pregnancy.”

It seems that Justin Timberlake is trying to focus on his relationship with his wife, actress Jessica Biel, and his two sons, following the powerful revelations released from Britney Spears’ memoir “The Woman In Me.” Although the two dated from 1999 to 2002, Justin went on to marry Jessica Biel in 2012 and the two are still together.
Britney, meanwhile, was married to Kevin Federline from 2004 to 2007. The two welcomed two sons: Sean Preston, 18, and Jayden James, 17. Although Britney claimed that she had an unplanned pregnancy with the actor “The Social Network” in her memoir “The Woman In Me,” it seems that it will not shake the relationship.
“Justin has been focusing on his own family and trying not to distract himself with Britney’s memoir,” a source told ET on Tuesday. “In recent years, Justin has tried to support Britney from afar. In another excerpt from “The Woman In Me,” released by People magazine on Tuesday, the “Hold Me Closer” singer talked about the “painful” decision to let go of her pregnancy, especially after she said that Justin “wasn’t ready to be a dad.”
“It’s a shock, but for me, it’s not a tragedy. I love Justin so much. I always hope we have a family together one day. This will be sooner than I expected,” he wrote in his memoirs. “But Justin is definitely not happy about the pregnancy. He said we weren’t ready to have a baby in our lives, that we were too young.”
“I don’t know if that was the right decision. If it was left up to me, I wouldn’t do it. But Justin was so adamant that he didn’t want to be a father,” she continued, adding, “To this day, it’s one of the most painful things I’ve ever experienced in my life.”

Another excerpt from “The Woman In Me” published by People magazine on Tuesday talks about the beginning of Britney’s career in “The Mickey Mouse Club,” which began in 1993. “Being on the show was a training camp for the entertainment industry: dancing which spanned rehearsals, singing lessons, acting classes, time in the recording studio, and school in between,” she wrote in her memoir, noting that she first appeared on the show in 1993. As Britney explained:
“The Mouseketeers quickly split into our own group, divided by the dressing room we shared: Christina Aguilera and I were the younger kids, and we shared a dressing room. We look up to the older kids–Keri Russell, Ryan Gosling and Tony Lucca, who I think is very handsome. And I immediately connected with a boy named Justin Timberlake.”

The two began their relationship soon after meeting, sharing their first kiss during a game of Truth or Dare while a Janet Jackson song played in the background. “[Once] during sleep, we played Truth or Dare, and someone dared Justin to kiss me,” she wrote. “A Janet Jackson song was playing in the background as she leaned in and kissed me.”
Although the “Hold Me Closer” singer described working on the show as “a lot of fun,” she admitted that it was “really hard work,” with her and her friends expected to practice choreography and routines “thirty times a day.”
He almost had a role with another “The Mickey Mouse Club” alum, “Barbie” actor Ryan Gosling, but he vowed not to act after a “messy” experience on the set of his 2002 film “Crossroads.”
