Well, pop music fans know a little bit about the answer to this question now! The band’s new song “Better Place” was announced earlier today; the song marked the group’s first single in two decades.
“Better Place” is featured in the trailer for “Trolls Band Together,” per TODAY, which will be released in November.

N’Sync have been heating up their Instagram grid ahead of the big news.
The band’s page shared a reel featuring the guys in an elevator heading to the VMA stage, and a reel of the band lip-syncing to the band’s famous “Friends” clip reflecting on Chandler and Monica’s relationship!
The ‘Friend’ly reel has certainly inspired curious fans!
“Um.. no matter what this is.. I know for a fact that I won’t be able to recover financially.” a follower wrote.
“I’ve raised money to spend on whatever happens and am ready to take on adult debt if necessary,” said another.
“We have waited long enough for this. We are old and tired. Tell us already,” exclaimed one fan.
“Alexa, play Stop Playing Games With My Heart by the Backstreet Boys,” a fan commanded!
Fans can save their wallets (temporarily?) because Timberlake and Fatone have dropped a few glimpses to get our attention!
The band can be seen unashamedly enjoying themselves in the studio, and Timberlake can be heard saying “Too many stars aligned so that’s why I hit you guys, I was like ‘Hey, something came up!”
He added, “We made this song, it’s a love letter to our fans. I would be honored to have a band on this song.”
Timberlake had a big hit with 2016’s “Can’t Stop This Feeling” on the soundtrack for the first film in the ‘Trolls’ franchise.
Captioning the reel, Timberlake wrote, “When the stars align… getting my brothers back in the studio to work on something fun and the energy is special. A Better Place is coming 9/29 ?? LOVE ALL”
“Better Place” will be released on September 29, with “Trolls Band Together” hitting theaters on November 17!
