You know how the joke goes, “Five men get into an elevator…” Well, it’s true! As Timberlake stepped into an elevator with Chris Kirkpatrick, JC Chasez, Lance Bass and Joey Fatone, for the 2023 MTV VMAs, it was indeed big news. Bringing back NSYNC as millennials remember it won’t end with just one song, as the awards night saw NSYNC get back together as a group after 20 years – since they disbanded in 2002.
At that time, it was supposed to be a break, because Timberlake wanted to record a solo album. The disappearance continued and the group never got back together, except now, in 2023, they seem to be back, and even celebrities can’t handle it.

Timberlake also included a snippet on his Instagram account, where you can listen to *NSYNC’s first song together in 23 years, “Better Place,” from the upcoming “Trolls Band Together” movie soundtrack. Timberlake voiced the character “Branch” in the film franchise and while the song won’t officially drop until September 29, you can listen or save it now at takeyoutoabetterplace.com.
For millennials, it’s like time stops because you can hear the same shiny, layered electronic harmonies that everyone loves *NSYNC, but with a better gassy beat like Timberlake’s “Trolls” number, “Can’t Stop the Feeling !”
