Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has a request for Taylor Swift and it’s something he announced to the world, at least part of the world on Twitter.
It seems she’s not the only prime minister to be a fan of Swift as more world leaders are joining in to beg the singer to come to their country. Scroll down to find out why…
Justin Trudeau Wants Taylor Swift To Come To Canada
MEGA
Taylor Swift recently took to Twitter to announce that her Eras tour will be “more” global, with 14 new shows in the UK and Europe.
The 33-year-old also has new guests, Paramore, with Hayley Williams on lead singer and Swift is also excited about this, writing: “Absolutely can’t contain my excitement because… we’re adding 14 new shows to The Eras Tour . And I get to travel the world performing with @paramore!! Hayley and I have been friends since we were teenagers in Nashville and now we get to play around the UK/Europe next summer??? I screamed???”
The countries remain mostly the same, with new dates added to the global tour starting May 9 and running through August. There was a resounding clamor from her fans who wanted her to come to more countries, with people from Canada and Asia proving they were Swifties too and deserved Swift to come and be with them.
One surprising Swiftie turned out to be Canadian PM Justin Trudeau tweeting, in response to his announcement:
It’s me, hi. I know places in Canada would love to have you. So, don’t make summer cruel again. We hope to see you soon.

The tweet seems to be a play on Swift’s Twitter bio that reads, “I’m the problem, it’s me” which is a lyric from her song, “Anti-Hero.”
Not All Canadians Appear to Be Justin Trudeau Fans!
MEGA
Trudeau’s reply to Swift may not have been answered (by him) but it certainly didn’t go unnoticed. Many comments followed with many Canadians insulting their PM!
While many RT just read “Cringe”, others are more verbose to hammer their points home!
“Tweet Drunk?”
“Are you getting drunk again on our taxpayer money???”
“Are you either drunk or stoned or both? This is so creepy!”
“What he should have said was ‘Here I am. Hi, my problem is I…. Don’t take it out across Canada.’”
“Holy H–l, Justin, we’ve talked about this! If you’ve had a little to drink, you need to hang up your phone & let the communications team handle your social media. This is not only embarrassing for you, but it is also embarrassing for us. Please consider your actions in the future.”
Another fan implored Taylor Swift to ignore Trudeau:
“Hey Taylor: This guy is an anti-hero. Please don’t indulge his ego.”
“Taylor, FYI…this is his first draft. Might be thinking of coming here after the next federal election. Just saying.”
That said, quietly in front of THAT, there is another world leader who has the same mindset. Pita Limjaroenrat, who is likely to be the next Prime Minister of Thailand also reached out to her, with the same Swiftie vibe!
Hey Taylor! Your biggest fan. Btw, Thailand is back on track to be fully democratic after you had to cancel the last time due to a coup. The Thai people have spoken through the election and we all look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful country!
Come and I will… https://t.co/ypox90kRpL

Taylor Swift Announces “Version of Me Talking Now”
MEGA
Swift also took to social media a few hours ago, announcing her version of “Speak Now,” announcing, “It’s here. It’s yours, it’s mine, it’s ours. It’s an album I wrote myself about the will, the fantasy, the pain heart, drama, and tragedy that I went through as a young woman between 18 and 20. I remember making playlist after playlist, obsessing over the right way to tell a story. I had to be ruthless with my choices, and I left out some songs that still proud of me now. So you have 6 songs From The Vault!”
Although he has disabled comments on Instagram (sorry Mark Zuckerberg), fans are telling him on Twitter (another win for Elon Musk) how beautiful and perfect they find his new release. Here is more about it…
