Before moving to Mumbai in 1991, Jyothy Lakshmi Krishna had no intention of becoming a painter. After arriving in Mumbai, Jyothy was persuaded by her friends and family to take up painting as a profession. According to Jyothy Lakshmi Krishna, she never had formal training in painting, and she learned the art through several online certification courses. Jyothy owns an online art gallery, where she exhibits her paintings and drawings for visitors, where visitors can also purchase her artwork. Jyothy Lakshmi Krishna’s paintings are a combination of realism and abstraction. Through his paintings, he depicts various feelings, emotions, and thoughts.
