Jyoti Yadav is an Indian Police Service Officer of 2019 batch of Punjab cadre serving as Superintendent of Police Mansa. She is best known as the fiancee of Harjot Singh Bains, the Cabinet Minister for School Education in the Punjab Government.

Jyoti Yadav, also known as Jyoti Singh Nuniwaal , was born on Thursday, 26 November 1987 (age 35 years; in 2022) in Gurugram, Haryana. His zodiac sign is Sagittarius. Jyoti attended Sherwood Convent School, Gurgaon. After that, he obtained his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree. In 2019, Jyoti secured 437 rank in civil services exam, becoming an IPS officer of Punjab cadre.

Jyoti Yadav is in the limelight in 2022 after publicly sparring with AAP MLA Rajinderpal Kaur Chhina. Apparently, Chhina accused Jyoti of conducting a search operation in her assembly area without giving any prior information about it. Yadav, who was on duty as assistant commissioner of police in Ludhiana at the time, said he was directed to conduct a search operation against anti-social elements by the then Ludhiana police commissioner.
