Kainaz Motivala was born on Thursday, 20 November 1986 (age 36 years; in 2022) in Mumbai, Maharashtra. His zodiac sign is Scorpio. Kainaz went to Germany as an exchange student at the age of 15, where he lived with a German family for a year. He graduated with a Bachelor of Mass Media (BMM) from Jai Hind College in Mumbai. He received his acceptance letter for Masters in Journalism from London; however, he canceled his plans.

Reporter
After graduating from Jai Hind College, he worked as a journalist with HAIR Magazine in India. While she was coordinating a makeover shoot by HAIR Magazine, she was approached by one of the assistant directors of the film Paathshaala (2010) to audition for a role in the film. After Kainaz was offered the role, he took a sabbatical from work and began his journey in Bollywood. In 2015, she worked as a Zumba instructor.
