Now, Bristowe has taken to social media to reveal how close she and her dad are, and how he is her “rock”.

The former “Bachelor” lead has been going through a tough time following her breakup with Jason Tartick, but she has one man she can count on — her dad.
“Ever since I can remember… I could always call my dad at any time of the day or night, and he would be there for me,” she began writing on Instagram. “It could be anything from needing her to pick up a tampon, needing a ride home, to crying about a boy. He always listens and offers support.”
She went on to say, “He is the rock in my life and I cherish every moment spent with him this week. Some of my BEST friends have lost their dads. So I want to send my love to anyone who has lost them, or doesn’t have a relationship with them. I wish I could hug you.”

Last month, the “Bachelor” couple took to social media to announce the heartbreaking news.
“After sharing the news with family and close friends first, and taking time to properly process it ourselves, it is with a heavy heart that we are saddened to share that we have decided to end our engagement,” the couple wrote on social media. “We are grateful to all of you who have given us the time and space to process this life-changing decision as there are many emotions and changes to navigate.”
The couple went on to explain how they plan to remain friends and will continue to look after their two dogs, Ramen and Pinot, together. “Our dogs Ramen & Pinot will continue to be cared for together as brothers,” they wrote. “Even if their humans are no longer romantically involved, we will love and care for them together.”
“Continuing our friendship is very important to both of us. We feel grateful to end our engagement with love and respect for each other,” they continued. “It’s heartbreaking and sad to say goodbye, but our care and admiration for each other will never die.”
Tartick and Bristowe concluded with, “We are so grateful for the memories made together, and for your support of us and the boys throughout the years. Going forward we will always have a level of support for each other. We don’t know what the future holds, so please try to make room for us in your heart.”
