Kalabrya Gondrezick is the wife of Pittsburgh Steeler backup quarterback Dwayne Haskins. Back in Grant, he attended Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic School from grades 1 to 9. He was on the basketball team from grades 5-9 in the Denver Catholic League where he was noted as one of the best players in the league. Later, he moved to Boulder High School and graduated in 1981.
Grant enrolled at Pepperdine University in Malibu, CA after receiving a scholarship. He had an outstanding career scoring nearly a thousand points and three NCAA berths. He graduated with a BS in Physical Education.
In 1986, Grant was drafted in the second round of the NBA by the Phoenix Suns playing for two years. He also played internationally for nine years in Belgium, Italy, Spain, Argentina, Limoges, France, and Germany, to name a few.

Kysre added, “Go down the opposite lane, turn right in front of us, instead of waiting for us to pass. And I screamed, ‘Mama!”
Their mother and coach, Lisa Harvey-Gondrezick, was in the driver’s seat. “He thought I was dead because my neck was in the steering wheel,” Kalabrya said WSBT22, who was lying on the back of the car before being thrown forward. “He went to turn it and he said my neck just rolled.”
Kalabrya lined up flat in the ambulance. Kysre suffered serious internal injuries. But amidst the chaos at the hospital is a moment that the family will cherish forever.
