Kameron Westcott is supporting her father-in-law Carl Westcott in his ongoing legal battle against singer Katy Perry.
The “Dark Horse” singer and her fiance, actor Orlando Bloom, reportedly acquired an eight-bedroom ranch in Montecito, California in July 2020 for $15 million. However, shortly after finalizing the deal, Carl, who was the previous owner, claimed to have changed his mind about the sale, leading to a lawsuit.

As the legal battle over the prestigious California home officially entered trial, Kameron left his other duties to be physically present. The “Real Housewives of Dallas” star informed fans of the decision in a series of social media uploads that included clips and quotes reminiscing about Carl’s time as a war veteran.
Kicking off the show, she uploaded a selfie of herself in a pink blazer, white top and blue bottoms, along with the text, “In LA to support our Captain ? We love you Carl ?? Thank you to everyone who has kept us in your thoughts. “
Next, she shared a clip of her wearing a gorgeous purple collared shirt, perfect facial beats and a Los Angeles, California location tag. She began by stating that it was her “first day in court,” and that she and her husband, Court Westcott, were there to “fight for justice” for her father-in-law. The 40-year-old continued:
“And we will see what happens. We are here though standing firm, we are not afraid and we hope that justice will be served for my father in law. He deserves it.”

Kameron later praised Carl for being a “great guy” who “has done so many amazing things in his life,” and “has so many accomplishments.” The reality star concluded:
“He didn’t deserve to be in this position, especially when he was dying. How heartless he had to go through all this. So, it was the first trial day. Wish us luck.
The reality TV star proved Carl really was on his deathbed with an image of him and his children — Hilton and Cruise — posing next to him. He later uploaded a vintage photo of his “amazing father-in-law at age 5” when he was living “without running water in abject poverty in Vicksburg Mississippi.”
An Instagram story she said she “had to share” because “she’s so cute,” was followed by another throwback photo featuring the Californian in her combat gear and outfit. At the bottom of the post, he explains:
“Carl Westcott. Member of the 101st Airborne Division. He helped protect the children in the Little Rock 9 to help with integration.”

Prior to Kameron’s broadcast, The Blast had reported that Carl requested that the transaction between him and Katy be voided due to his alleged lack of mental capacity to understand the nature and possible consequences of the sale.
The 84-year-old insisted that he had never listed the property for sale and was not involved with any real estate broker regarding its sale. He further asserted that, during that period, he was not in a position to negotiate an agreement.
As it turned out, he had been prescribed at least two opiates for pain, which he took several times a day after leaving the hospital. His statement of action further declared:
“The combination of his age, weakness from his back condition and recent surgery, and the opiates he takes several times a day make Mr. Westcott unwell.”
Carl is said to have bought the house just two months before it was poached by Katy and Orlando.
Katy Perry Slammed For Another Domestic Dispute Case

While the outcome of this current dispute has yet to emerge, the case is reminiscent of earlier court drama involving the “California Girls” hitmaker. In case you missed it, he went to court when his offer to buy the Loz Feliz convent was opposed by two former residents.
Opposition led by the Archdiocese of Los Angeles filed a lawsuit against the two elderly nuns in support of the award-winning artist’s bid to buy the property. After years of back and forth, Katy finally won the suit and acquired the 8-acre estate for $14.5 million.
Unfortunately, during this time one of the nuns, Sister Catherine Rose Holzman, died. And upon hearing the latest Katy “stole the house” news, her nephew Brian Holzman contributed his two cents.
According to The Blast, he still believes that Katy’s actions were a factor in his aunt’s death and is not surprised to see her in the news again for a property dispute. In his words:
“Looks like he’s done it again. He is who he is, and he’s going to do what he’s going to do. It’s all about money and greed!”
