Kanye West Reportedly Working On A Comeback Album Amid Indecency Scandal In Italy

Despite the various controversies, Kanye West is working to return to the music industry. A new report claims that the rapper is in a “great headspace” and has finished nearly ten songs in just one week. The new album will reportedly have more of an “old Kanye” sound.

Fans went wild when West’s album collaboration “Jesus Is King 2” with Dr. Dre recently leaked online. The rapper has been quiet on social media lately since the anti-Semitic controversy that cost him. Amid news of his comeback album, West is still under fire for public indecency incidents.

Kanye West is officially back in the studio for his next solo music project. Sources recently disclosed to TMZ that the Grammy award-winning rapper is in “a really great headspace.” West reportedly completed songs quickly, with nearly ten songs completed in just one week.

His last musical project was more than two years ago when he released the very popular “Donda” in 2021. At the end of 2022, the “Good Morning” rapper released the now deleted song “Censori Overload” as a tribute to his now wife Bianca Censori.

According to the news outlet’s sources, West’s new project will feature themes similar to “Old Kanye.” The rapper is also working with Ty Dolla Sign, an artist he has worked with several times in the past. There has been speculation that the two might create an album together in addition to West’s solo project.

There is high fan demand for new music from West, which has become even more intense after recent leaks. Last week, the rapper’s “Jesus Is King 2” album collaboration with Dr. Dre leaked on social media and sent fans into a frenzy.

“Jesus Is King 2” is meant to be a sequel to West’s 2019 gospel album “Jesus Is King.” The leaked project contains 15 songs with an impressive list of featured artists. There are collaborations with Eminem, Anderson Paak, Travis Scott, A$AP Ferg and Snoop Dogg.

The album is mostly remixed versions of West’s songs from the 2019 album, including “God Is” and “Everything We Need.” With the excitement on social media about the leaked album with Dr. Dre, it looks like the upcoming project will be successful.

According to TMZ source, there is currently no confirmed release date for the new project. The “All of the Lights” rapper is reportedly taking his time with production to ensure the album maintains the quality that his previous musical projects have set.

West has been silent on social media and in public since his anti-Semitic controversy began in 2021. Anti-Semitic rants cost the Yeezy founder, and he lost several brand partnerships, business deals and his billionaire status.

One of West’s most notable losses was his partnership with Universal Music’s Def Jam Records. At the time, the label denounced the rapper’s anti-Semitic stance. Their statement read, “Def Jam’s relationship with Ye as a recording artist, its partnership with the GOOD Music label venture and Ye’s merchandise deal with Bravado all end in 2021.”

West has also faced public exposure and indecency controversy during his visit to Italy with his wife, Censori. The pair were filmed in the back of a river taxi in a compromising position, with West exposing her bare rear. Many locals filmed the scene on their phones and uploaded it to social media.

After the incident went viral on social media and drew heavy criticism from West and Censors, an investigation was launched by the Venice police. River’s taxi company, Venezia Turismo Motascafi, also issued a statement saying it had “absolutely no knowledge” of the couple’s lewd acts on their boat.

The statement explained that the taxi driver did not notice because he was in front, and his view was obstructed by a third party. It further reads, “The driver had to monitor the traffic and did not see this obscenity. If this happens, he will immediately come down and report the violator to the authorities.” The pair have now been permanently banned for life from using the company’s River taxis.
