Karanvir Bohra was born, as Manoj Bohra, on 28 August 1982 (age 41; in 2023) in Jodhpur, Rajasthan, India. The famous television actor started his professional journey at the age of 8 as a child artist in Tejaa (1990). Bohra rose to fame with his negative character as Prem Basu/Yudi in Star Plus’ hit TV series Kasautii Zindagii Kay. He is also known for his role as Dhruv in Ronnie Screwvala’s Television series Shararat- Thoda Jaadu, Thodi Nazaakat which aired on Star Plus from 2003 to 2007. In 2007 he changed his name from Manoj Bohra to Karanvir Bohra. Apart from appearing in various popular television series in lead roles, she is also seen participating in dance and other reality shows. Karanvir Bohra is appreciated for hosting many shows as well.

On 3 November 2006, Karanvir tied the knot with actor Teejay Sidhu at Sri Sri Ravishankar Ashram, Bengaluru.

Career
Karanvir Bohra did his schooling from GD Somani Memorial School, Mumbai. After completing his schooling, he chose Science and enrolled in Elphinstone College, Mumbai. He is not good at academics or sports. After that, he withdrew from science and completed a Bachelor of Commerce from Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. He started his professional journey at an early stage. Bohra made his screen debut as a child artiste in 1990 by playing the role of young Tejaa in the Bollywood film Tejaa.

Karanvir has also assisted the director of TV series, CID and Achanak 37 Saal Baad. He, along with Tina Parekh, in 2008, hosted the TV reality show Ek Se Badhkar Ek. Bohra was also seen in the 1999 television series Just Mohabbat.

In 2013, he, along with Teejay Sidhu, produced and acting in his first Punjabi film Love Yoou Soniye.

Karanvir started hosting Season 4 of the popular Indian crime TV series Gumrah: End of Innocence and replaced Abhay Deol. However, when the show started facing financial crisis, the show makers asked her to cut her money which led her to quit the show in 2015.

- Throughout his successful career, Karanvir has been bestowed with numerous awards. In 2006, Karanvir was awarded the Indian Television Award for Best Actor in a Negative Role for the TV series Kasautii Zindagii Kay.

Controversy
- With success comes a lot of responsibility and sometimes like it or not like it comes a lot of problems. Karan was also embroiled in several controversies. Once Shahrukh Khan’s van collided with Karanvir Bohra’s parked car which made Bohra agitated and wanted to file a case against Shahrukh Khan. Shahrukh Khan asks her not to file a case.
- For a controversial exit from the TV series Qubool Hai, he stated that he was not confident of the show taking off in Season 3. Karanvir Bohra found the role not interesting enough and considering the low TRPs, he chose to quit the show. However, he insisted that if given the chance, he would love to work with the same cast and crew in the future.
- While hosting the OK Life Screen Awards show, Karanvir mispronounced Anupam Kher’s name. Anupam Kher was very angry with this and said, “Mera naam announced kardo phir, kahi galti se misprint nahi hua ho bhaisaab. Next time if there is a mistake like this accept it honestly and don’t try to cover it up.” This unexpected statement from Anupam Kher made Karan blush.
- In June 2022, a case was registered against Karanvir Bohra at Oshiwara police station for allegedly duping a 40-year-old woman of Rs. 1.99 crore on the grounds of return at an interest rate of 2.5 percent.
