In 2002, she married Hollywood producer Brad Listermann in Las Vegas whom she met through an online dating website. After just one face-to-face meeting, they decided to tie the knot in Las Vegas. Kashmera had to travel to India for his work from the United States. A very similar story of her love affair with Brad is told in the Hindi-English film, ‘My Bollywood Bride’ or ‘My Faraway Bride’ produced by Brad Listermann and Kashmera is the lead actress in this film.

Then, in 2006 there were rumors that she had left Brad which later, turned out to be true. In an interview, Kashmera said,
He started bringing his work home. He is too much of a perfectionist. He reshot many scenes. My Bollywood bride became more important to him than me.”
Apart from their personal and professional disagreements, there was another reason for their separation, and it was his closeness with popular Indian comedian Krushna Abhishek. In an interview, Kashmera said,
I told Brad that I got the same feeling for Krishna that I had for him. He told me that was madness. I try to confirm and hold back; I reasoned with myself that it could be fun to return to a film I misread as love…”
When he was in India for the shooting of the film, ‘Aur Pappu Pass Ho Gaya’ (2006) in Jaipur, he met Krushna for the first time.

Soon, they became friends and fell in love with each other, In 2007, Kashmera divorced her first husband, Brad. When he was in the ‘Bigg Boss’ house (2006-2007) as a contestant, he talked about his love affair with Krushna. In 2007, Krushna proposed to Kashmera on the couple’s dance reality show, Nach Baliye amid rumors of Krushna’s relationship with Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta. After years of being in a live relationship, the couple secretly got married in June 2012. Their secret wedding came into the public eye when in 2014 she was spotted wearing sindoor. In an interview, Kashmera and Krushna said,

Kashmera was married to Krushna in Las Vegas, where she had married her first husband. In 2017, she was blessed with twin sons; Rayaan and Krishaang through surrogacy. In an interview, Kashmera shared why she chose surrogacy, she said,
I have been trying to get pregnant for three years without success. It was hard because my twins were not conceived naturally. I have lost my health. My body swelled during the IVF process. I have had 14 failed attempts to have a child. IVF injection is nothing less than actually a mother in the pregnancy stage. You experience mood swings, gain weight, feel irritable like any mother-to-be. It becomes difficult to lose weight because it is not natural. My doctor will tell me how I lose my health and become very temperamental.”

Career
When she was 16 years old, she decided to make her career in modeling. She started contacting various modeling agencies and got some good modeling projects. At the age of 22, she became a famous Indian model. In 1993, when she was in college, she won Miss University World in her college. In the same year, she represented India in a beauty pageant held in South Korea and won the title. Later, she won many beauty pageants. In 1996, she got her first dance number, ‘Pappa Ro Paap’ in the Telugu film, ‘Intlo Illalu Vantintlo Priyuralu.’

In 2018, comments made by Kashmera caused a rift between Krushna, Govinda and Govinda’s wife. In an interview, Krushna explained the whole thing, she said,
There are tweets. He (Govinda) did not come to my show, The Drama Company. I spoke to mami (Govinda’s wife Sunita) about it and told them that you are going to Kapil Sharma’s show and you should also come to my show. People ask me. Then they came and it was a great episode. But then, Kashmera tweeted something wrong for my sister. Govinda thinks it is for them. I tried to explain, but mami was angry. Then I decided not to come between mami and Kashmera. Then it was my son’s first birthday. They didn’t come for that, and then I was disappointed. My mother has brought up Govinda ji, so I have every right to be upset with him.”
