When he opened the door for his 11-year-old son to give his honest thoughts on his TikTok presence, he basically said he was too old to be on the social media platform. “Son, how do you feel about me and TikTok?” he asked his middle child. “Strange. I think it’s very strange because I’ve always known TikTok like it’s not fun, I don’t want my parents to say it, but,” he replied lazily. “I know it’s like little kids, younger people.”
Hudson, 43, continued to question her thoughts on the topic by reminding her that she didn’t have a phone. “So when I had TikTok, I still remember,” he says before he interrupts to remind her that he made her get rid of the app. “I felt really weird because I always knew TikTok was for younger people and not for my mom.”

The mother of three looked a bit confused by her answer, but don’t worry, her fans took it from there. “Your mother is Kate Hudson!!! He’s a legend,” one fan said in the comments. Another added, “Does she know her mom is the ICONIC Kate Hudson?” One fan was worried by Bingham’s response saying, “If Kate Hudson is old, there’s no hope for us all ???”
Many of the actress’ followers continued to try to get the 11-year-old a message about who she was talking about and how iconic her mother was. “So nice to talk but that young man is KATE HUDSON,” explained one follower. “’Not for old people’ does he realize you’re Kate freakin’ Hudson?!?! Hudson, also mother to son Ryder Robinson, 18, and daughter Rani Rose Hudson Fjikawa, 4, recently took her two younger children to the tree farm for some festive fun and shared photos on Instagram. (Wonder what Bingham thinks of her presence on that social media platform!) Her carousel of photos and videos is simply captioned, “☃️?Holiday Fun?☃️” and is absolutely over-the-top holiday cuteness.
