Kensington Palace previously announced that Kate’s Royal engagement will resume after Easter.
Prince William, her husband, hasn’t said much about Kate’s health status and even fueled rumors by guaranteeing her Godfather’s funeral.
Kate Middleton’s Publicity Addresses Rumors About Her Disappearance

Kate Middleton’s spokesperson has addressed rumors surrounding her disappearance from the public eye and health issues. There have been many theories and viral memes on social media questioning the whereabouts of the Princess of Wales amid her recovery from stomach surgery.
A statement from the representative read, “Kensington Palace clarified in January the timeline of the princess’ recovery and we will only provide important updates. That guidance is still there.”
The rep went on to claim that Kate is doing well and is taking time to fully recover.
Another Royal source previously commented on Kate’s well-being after a reporter from a Spanish news program claimed she was in a coma due to health complications from surgery.
The source said, “There is absolutely no truth to the reports that Kate is in a coma. He is recovering at home.”
Kate Middleton Will Resume Royal Duties After Easter

Kensington Palace, the official body covering Kate and Prince William’s affairs, previously announced in January that the Princess of Wales was taking a break from royal engagements. They stated that he would probably not resume his duties until after Easter.
The statement was also shared on Kensington Palace’s official X account. It read, “The surgery was a success, and it is expected that he will stay [the] hospital for ten to fourteen days before returning home to continue his recovery. Based on current medical advice, he is unlikely to return to public duty until after Easter.”
In the statement, Kensington Palace expressed its appreciation for Kate’s interest in her health, adding, “She hopes the public will understand her desire to maintain as much normality as possible for her children; and his desire for his personal medical information to remain private.”
At the end of the message, the statement stated that Kate would like to apologize to everyone affected by the postponement of future Royal engagements. The statement concluded, “He hopes to restore as many as possible, as quickly as possible.”
Prince William Has Not Commented On Kate Middleton’s Health

Prince William also took a short break to be by Kate’s side during the surgery and a short hospital stay. Although he has now resumed his public duties, he recently inadvertently sparked rumors about his whereabouts.
On February 27, the Prince of Wales bailed on a royal engagement, a memorial service for his Godfather, the late King Constantine II of Greece, for “personal reasons,” which many believed was an emergency involving Kate.
Days after the engagement, William visited a London synagogue to address allegations of rising antisemitism and speak on behalf of him and Kate.
He said, “Both Catherine and I are very concerned about the rise of antisemitism.” However, this only fueled further rumors about what had happened to the Princess.
About her stomach surgery, the source spoke Us Weekly and revealed that Kate has no plans to reveal details about the surgery. They said: “She is resting and enjoying lots of visits from Prince William and the kids.”
King Charles’ Cancer Diagnosis Limits His Royal Duties

Kate isn’t the only Royal to suffer medical problems and withdraw from the spotlight. King Charles III was recently released from a London hospital after prostate surgery. Less than a month later, Buckingham Palace officially confirmed he had been diagnosed with cancer.
The statement read, “During a recent procedure at The King’s hospital for a benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. Subsequent diagnostic tests have identified a form of cancer. His Majesty has today started a regular treatment schedule, during which time he has been advised by doctors to postpone public duties.”
The statement further clarified that despite his diagnosis, King Charles “will continue to carry out government business and official paperwork as usual.” However, there are not many rumors because Charles has made several public appearances during his treatment.
