When informed that the drug was injected to suppress appetite in order to lose weight, the “Titanic” star reacted with surprise, exclaiming, “Oh my God. This sounds terrible. Let’s eat some more things!” He then joked while enjoying the pastry.
Reflecting on her own experience with weight loss, Winslet also addressed the harsh criticism she faced regarding her weight, revealing her past struggle with an eating disorder.
He emphasized that he now refuses to tolerate discussions about weight and immediately confronts anyone who brings it up.
The actor explained, per Daily Mail, “I never told anyone about it. Because guess what — people in the world around you go: ‘Hey, you look great! You lost weight!’”
“So, compliments about looking good are also related to weight. And that’s one thing I won’t let people talk about. If they do, I keep pulling them,” added Winslet.

Winslet replied: “It’s interesting how much it has changed. And I think about the moments where I have to say, ‘Well, look, I’m going to be myself. And I have curves. And here I am.’”
