Career
Katherine Ryan began her career with Hooters as a corporate trainer, traveling across Canada to teach other servers and assisting in the opening of the sole UK franchise in Nottingham. She made her television debut in 2012 on Channel 4’s 8 Out of 10 Cats, which helped her land a part on Channel 4’s Campus. She took part as a celebrity contestant on BBC One’s Let’s Dance for Comic Relief on 23 February 2013, when she reached the final and ranked fourth.
In 2015, she took over as host of Hair on BBC Two, replacing Steve Jones, and she joined Tinie Tempah’s crew on Sky 1’s music/comedy panel program Bring the Noise 2015. She was featured in Taskmaster Season 2 in 2016. She won the Women’s Award Amused Nive and won second place in the Amused Moose Laugh-Off competition.
