On July 14, 2009, he joined the Future Tour of his career. Ekey competed in four US Women’s Amateur Championships from 2005 to 2008, as well as two US Women’s Opens (2008, 2009). She won the Symetra Tour J Golf Race for Cards and thus earned her LPGA Tour card for the 2012 season. She won twice on the Symetra Tour season at the Ladies Titan Tire Challenge and the Alliance Bank Golf Classic. In 2013, she played in 16 tournaments, missed eight cuts, and finished T22 at the North Texas LPGA Shootout.
