Many people thought that they would start 2024 quietly and peacefully, but Katt Williams clearly took a different direction just days into the new year.
During a recent interview on Shannon Sharpe’s podcast, “Club Shay Shay,” the comedian and actress spilled more than just piping hot tea and fans were here for every second of it.

The comedian, who is known for his comedy as well as acting roles in films, such as “Friday After Next” and “School Dance,” recently sat down with Sharpe to spill whatever was on his mind. The interview is a bit longer than most, clocking in at 2 hours and 46 minutes, and lives up to its title, “Katt Williams Unleashed” because that’s what Williams does – UNLEASH!

Williams had a few things to say about comedian and actor Kevin Hart, and she didn’t hold back one bit.
“For five years, every movie that Kevin Hart did was a movie that was on my desk that I was just saying can we take some of these steps and take it?” he said. “And then I can do it like, it doesn’t have to be overtly homosexual because I’m not homosexual. Right, it doesn’t need that to be funny, does it? And I said that and they went, oh yeah, no problem, and then going to give it to this other guy and have him do it like it happened and act like I’m a bad person because I keep standing by my standards. “
He then continued by referring to the fact that Hart was the “factory” of the industry.
“He already had his offer when he got here. Have we ever heard of a comedian who came to LA and in his first year in LA he had his own sitcom on network television and had his own movie called ‘Soul Plane’ that he directed?” he asked Sharpe. “No, we never heard of that before that person or since that person. What do you think the plant is? Maybe people don’t understand the definition of this word.”

Williams then discussed the “gatekeeper” and how everyone was told there wasn’t one, but “we kept seeing the same person opening the door.” He also said no one had seen him and Hart in the same building at the same time in 25 years. If Williams went into the building, Hart would come out, he said.
Fans loved all the information Williams shared.

While Williams threw a lot of people under the bus when he spewed his truth, he also stood up for who and what he thought was right. One topic that entered the chat was the “ungrateful” actor who complained about Ice Cube’s payment in the movie “Friday.”
“The free black man who taped him part of his f—— pocket? You mean he didn’t pay you enough?” he said. “They are strange. Freaks who feel they have a chance because they’re big.”
Sharpe then asked if he was ready to do another “Friday” and he said that “Cube already asked me to write it.” And then he dropped a little bombshell about actor Chris Tucker that no one seemed quite prepared for.
“I should have written it,” he said. “This is what this man scolded. Like, we lost some great people before this movie could even come out, regardless, and so yeah, there really needs to be one. But we miss John Witherspoon in incalculable ways, if I’m being honest with you. And the Chris Tucker we got now is Epstein Island Chris Tucker, not Smokey.”

Sharpe’s only reaction at that point was a very clear, “Oh my God.” Fans were also unprepared for the “Epstein Island Chris Tucker” comment.
“I dropped my phone on ‘Epstein island Chris Tucker…’,” wrote one fan. Another said, “That ‘yes sir’ after Chris Tucker’s line was HARD.”

And then Williams discussed rapper Ludacris. Sharpe asked if the two were related and Williams quickly unraveled some of the back story.
“No. So there was an intersection where we were both invited to something Illuminati and it had to be one of us,” Williams said after being asked if he was related to Ludacris.
“And a decision had to be made so both of us, we were equal, one of us had to cut off all their hair and couldn’t do the side thing with the eyes anymore. And the next person they say is going to get $200 million because they’re going to pay him 10 million a movie to make 20 movies. And so the conversation unfolded. One of them is Ludacris and the other one is Katt Williams.”
He then pointed out that “Fast and Furious” is currently on its 10th film.
