Keanu Reeves Reportedly Thanked ‘John Wick 4’ Stunt Crew With THIS Amazing Gift

Keanu Reeves has appreciated his assistant “John Wick: Chapter 4”!

The actor, who has the trademark of being one of the most generous celebrities, showed that side when he gifted the film’s stunt performers with funny yet memorable shirts. The T-shirt records how many times each stunt performer has died over the course of the Hollywood project, which for some has been over 20 years. The move comes years after he reportedly celebrated the end of production by presenting members of his stunt team a Rolex Submariner.

Although earning the badge of “the nicest man in Hollywood” was no easy feat, Reeves continued to maintain that status. Fight coordinator Jeremy Marinas highlighted his latest good deed during a recent conversation about a scene from the action film.

Focusing on the fight scene, which takes place on the steps leading to the Sacré-Cœur Basilica in Paris and involves 35 stuntmen, Marinas begins:

“It’s like, of course, that’s what you want. You want 100 men to fall from the stairs, and you want me to make each reaction and fall different. Of course, you do. It seems we just [at] another day at work.”

The cast and crew spent seven nights filming the stair fight, with each stuntman probably being “killed” four or five times. Their efforts are not in vain, as the coordinator added, per The Independent:

“At the end of filming, Reeves made T-shirts for the stunt performers emblazoned with the number of times they were killed throughout the entire film.”

Reeves first showed his gratitude to the on-screen fighters when he invited the four of them to dinner after filming for the franchise’s fourth installment finished in 2021.

While there, the Canadian superstar reportedly gifted each guest — Jeremy Marinas, Li Qiang, Dave Camarillo, and Bruce Concepcion — with their own Rolex watch, with one estimated to cost close to $10,000 (£7,000).

Fans are eager to see what the indie star of “My Own Private Idaho” will do for his action team following the incredible success of “John Wick 4.” The Blast shared that the film, which was released on Friday, March 24, was an absolute hit, grossing $73.5 million – the highest yet – during its opening weekend.

Overseas, the neo-noir brought in another $64 million, bringing its worldwide total to $137 million. Additionally, it has a 95% score on Rotten Tomatoes, a 78% score on Metacritic, and a 96% audience score.

“A symbol of class. An [sic] a sudden and unexpected painful grief for our artistic family. Unimaginable suffering for his personal family and loved ones. God willing my friend. You make your mark here. RIP.”

The “Bosch” actor’s death was confirmed by his representative, who asked viewers to give his family privacy and respect as they mourn their loss. Reddick is survived by his wife Stephanie and their two children — Yvonne Nicole and Christopher.
