Keke Palmer Gushes About Her ‘Warrior’ Baby Amid Her Third Trimester

Actress Keke Palmer is confident about her pregnancy, which is now 31 weeks. Now in her third trimester, she and her fitness instructor boyfriend, Darius Jackson, are expecting their first child.

Palmer said she hasn’t experienced any discomfort so far in her pregnancy and referred to her unborn child as “a hero” during a recent appearance on Las Culturistas podcasts.

The “Akeelah and The Bee” actress recently made an appearance at Las Culturistas podcast and couldn’t contain her excitement as she revealed that she’s feeling great while she waits for her pregnancy due date.

“I think my baby is like a hero or something like that because I’m good, you guys,” she said each People magazine. “I didn’t have any nausea like I had moments where I was like choking, where I would just sit there and it would make me feel like that. But I’m not actually going to puke; I’m not actually going to run to the bathroom.”

“It didn’t last more than 10 seconds, it was like a wave of something,” he added.

Palmer is expecting her first child with her boyfriend, Darius Jackson. Jackson took to Instagram to share an ultrasound image of their baby, captioning the carousel, “For 2022, thank you for giving me a family.”

The “No” actress spoke frankly Page Six about how she felt while she was waiting to give birth during the New York Film Critics Circle Awards.

“I’m really excited, nervous and curious more than anything because it’s one of those things that no one can really prepare you for,” she said, adding, “More than anything, I’m looking forward to getting it. my hands on my baby.”

Palmer, 28, also admitted to the news outlet that she has been less aggressive lately because of her pregnancy.

“I am a naturally fast person,” he explained. “For me, life goes at least 90 miles an hour, that’s how I cruise. So yeah, I think in general, whether it’s the holidays or the transitions that I’m going through in my life, slowing down is not something that comes naturally to me.”

The actress previously admitted that her transition to motherhood has brought an evolution in her life, adding that she is learning “to really take it easy” during this period.

He emphasizes that his choice will not interfere with his “drive” and “passion” but rather help him become a better and smarter version of himself.

The actress went on to reveal that “her baby moves all the time.”

“Now I’m 31 weeks old, so the baby is growing,” he explained. “Eventually I’ll get to the point where I’ll probably see fingers and stuff, but I don’t know if they’re big enough. I don’t know if that power is there. But I definitely feel it, and you can see the movement.”

Palmer first addressed pregnancy rumors last December when she revealed she was pregnant while hosting “Saturday Night Live.”

“I have to say, though, it’s bad when people on the internet spread rumors about you guys, but it’s even worse when they’re right. I mean, like, I try really hard to keep it on the down low, because I have a lot going on, you know?” he noted. “But honestly, this is the biggest blessing, and I’m really excited. Guys, I’m going to be a mother.”

“Time goes by it really surprises me when I think about how long I’ve been doing it but I really love it,” Palmer said. Page Six.

He added, “I’m really lucky that I found something I love to do early on and I’ve stuck with it even though it’s hard because it’s definitely going to be hard and it doesn’t always pay to be an actor, but I’m glad I stuck with it because it always gave me more than I thought I could give.”
