Keke Palmer’s ex-boyfriend and baby daddy, Darius Jackson, is flipping the script on their domestic violence scandal.
New court documents obtained by The Blast reveal that the fitness instructor has filed a restraining order against the popular entertainer in response to allegations of domestic violence.

In the filing, Jackson claims that Palmer was the “primary aggressor” and “engaged in abusive behavior throughout their two-and-a-half-year relationship.” This is why the former Fresno State University student is seeking a modification to the current custody arrangement that has his child’s mother, Leodis Andrellton Jackson, as sole custodian. Regarding that, he emphasized:
“I believe it is in the best interest of our child for the Petitioner and I share custody.”
She then added, “I’m asking for a court order along with legal and physical custody. (Keke) has refused to allow me to see Leodis since getting a temporary restraining order. My offer to monitor visitation has been denied, and he has removed any and all access unilateral.”
As for the “Joyful Noise” actress’ alleged intruder, Jackson claims he subjected her to physical and verbal abuse, including allegedly punching, choking and hitting her on multiple occasions, as listed with specific dates in the documents.
In particular, she asserted that her ex “made over 200 calls and sent over 50 emails” after she informed him that she would not spend the night with him in November 2021. She shared that she changed her phone number in March 2022 to avoid allegations of “harassment and threats ” he.
As The Blast previously reported, Jackson’s counterclaim cites examples of alleged abuse by the Nickelodeon alum. She recalled, “On August 20, 2021, Lauren punched Darius in the face at a birthday party.”
Just two months later, she asserted that Palmer “grabbed” her arm to prevent her from leaving her home. The 30-year-old further revealed that Palmer harassed her with phone calls and text messages.
“On November 17, 2021, after Darius told her he would not spend the night with her, Lauren called him over 200 times and sent him over 50 emails,” the filing said. Palmer is also accused of choking and using derogatory terms to her son’s father, such as “b–ch, punk a–, and “loser”.
Regarding the alleged physical and verbal abuse of the Hollywood star, she stated that it often happened after Palmer’s alcoholism, which made him “agitated and aggressive.” She claims that during the August 2021 incident when Palmer allegedly punched her, she had been drinking.
“The petitioner punched me in the face at the birthday party. Her friend, Lenoria Addison, shows up and tries to stop (Keke). Then, (he) apologized.”

Last month, The Blast observed that Keke’s fans expressed concern about her well-being in public and the apparent rift in her romance with Jackson. In response to the 30-year-old’s claims of being physically assaulted by her baby daddy on more than one occasion, a fan shared a 22-second clip from Tyler Perry’s “Madea’s Family Reunion.”
The scene opens with Lisa [played by Rochelle Aytes] pours what looks like a pot of hot gravy over her cheating man, Carlos [played by Blair Underwood], in the kitchen. It then cuts to Keke, Nikki, and Madea’s characters momentarily stopping when they hear screams from inside the house.
As Nikki asks if “everything’s okay,” Madea assures her that everything is, and they continue walking toward the car parked in front of the house. Above the video, the poster questioned, “WHAT IS HE DOING #Keke?!?!!! #KekePalmer.”
“Let’s find this guy and hit him up for Keke Palmer,” one fan wrote via X, as another exclaimed, “If that guy [has] had laid hands on Keke Palmer then locked a—!!” At the same time, someone wonders, “Darius did WHAT to KEKE PALMER?????!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!,” along with a clip of the fight scene.
Another social media user went on to ask, “Are we dealing with Keke Palmer’s baby daddy or not?” while the fifth stress, “Oh no! If I catch you, Darius, we’ll fight!! I don’t mess with my girl Keke Palmer! #KekePalmer.”
