The drama between Keke Palmer, her mother, and Darius Jackson continues to unfold following allegations of domestic violence by the actress against her child’s father.
Sharon Palmer, who has been outspoken since the scandal broke, has shared more information about her daughter’s time with Darius and also justified his alleged threats against her, adding that she is deeply concerned for Keke’s safety.

Sharon posted a response to the now-deleted recording of her with Darius, which was made public, saying, “You should ask them for the whole tape. You will hear him being told to leave several times. The point where I cursed came after 2 minutes of him refusing to leave.”
She went on to say that Darius had filmed her illegally, thus violating California’s consent rules in the process, as she noted that fitness instructors don’t care about the law because most abusers don’t. Sharon added that the fitness instructor refused to leave Keke’s house even after she wasn’t invited in and stated that she was “fearing for her life.”
According to reports, the grandmother also addressed images from Keke’s surveillance video, which was attached as evidence in her restraining order request, saying, “Darius Jackson’s still assaulting my daughter speaks for itself. No further comment is necessary.”
The Nickelodeon star was granted a temporary restraining order from the athlete and sole custody of their 7-month-old son, Leo. Darius has not been silent on the back and forth and has come forward with serious accusations against his ex-partner and her family, including threats to shoot her.
The father-of-one claims Sharon threatened to put a bullet in his head after an argument broke out between him and Keke at his place when he tried to invite Leo to a football match.
Sharon reportedly used strong language and shouted at the athlete, who did not find Leo at home despite previously texting Keke about her plans with the baby.
Darius also tried to collect Keke’s phone, the “SNL” star claims in her restraining order filing. He however denied assaulting the actress, and authorities reportedly did not find enough evidence to arrest him for it.
Despite the many pieces of evidence released by Keke, including one of the stairwell altercation from February 2022, The Blast shared that the father of one is standing firm and denying all the allegations.
However, Keke made her first public outing since the news broke. She looked delighted as she held baby Leo on set in West Hollywood and received a bouquet of fresh flowers which left her emotional as she read the attached letter.

Darius’ brother Sarunas Jackson also responded to the previous abuse allegations in a now-deleted tweet, which read:
“The most disgusting, vile, abusive, manipulative person I have EVER met in my entire life… Abuses almost everyone… You all will see.. Send positive energy to the baby.. Any child in the middle of something like this doing it is not worth it at all. Wow, really sad.”
However, Keke’s mother quickly denounced Sarunas’ stance and accused him of indulging Darius’s abusive tendencies of which she was fully aware saying:
“I have never done anything like this. I have been in this business for 22 years. I’ve seen many things, but this is—I can’t help myself. For Sarunas Jackson to post on his Twitter the ridiculous things he posted when he knew his brother was abusive.”
He added that Sarunas is one of the “biggest boys in Hollywood. He has no respect for women, just like his younger brother. He taught his brother how to be rude, so he can’t act like he’s this special guy.”
Sharon ended her answer by warning Darius and his brother not to mess up his family. Sarunas responded to Sharon’s statement and called all her claims false because she had never abused anyone, adding that she would reveal Sharon’s threats to her family.
