However, as the relationship grows, RHONY viewers should expect to see more of Kelly’s fiancé. Her boyfriend Scott’s proposal, which took place over the Fourth of July weekend, was a great surprise. Scott Litner found a special occasion to pop the question during a visit to Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, one of Kelly’s favorite summer vacation spots. He chose to propose on a romantic boat cruise, providing an intimate and beautiful setting for this momentous occasion.
Scott used the boat cruise to present Kelly with a beautiful handmade five-carat emerald-cut diamond ring from NYC jewelers Material Good. Scott added a sincere touch to the proposal, making it more meaningful. He takes Kelly to a site he remembers from his youth, a place with fond memories and deep emotional ties. Kelly Bensimon’s engagement was announced during the premiere party for Bravo’s Luann and Sonja: Welcome to Crappie Lake, when the couple made their first public appearance since the news.
