Kelly Rizzo Emotionally Recalls Last Christmas With Late Husband Bob Saget

This December marks almost a year since the death of legendary comedian Bob Saget, and his wife, Kelly Rizzo, is commemorating him once again in the spirit of Christmas.

“Cherish every moment,” the tour creator advised fans as he further explained why he gave such advice, recalling his last Christmas with Saget. He shared:

“I really didn’t think that our first Christmas together (in the same city) last year would be our last. (it was the first year he came to Chicago to spend Christmas with my family with my beautiful stepdaughter, Lara).”

Rizzo was “overjoyed” to experience special moments with her late husband, and she mentioned that she spent time with her nephew, Alex, and met her other nephew, Brooklyn.

According to him, the late actor left a lasting impression because Alex, who was two years old at the time, still remembers “Uncle Bob” and talks about him “every day.”

While the “Miami Model” actress is grateful for the impact her presence has had on her family, she also notes that she is the same with everyone she meets. Speaking more about the festive season, she wrote in her Instagram message, “Holidays are a time for hope, love, and togetherness.”

He then sent a prayer to loved ones lost during this period, hoping they would be “blessed with many memories and deep, loving gratitude that will see you through.” Rizzo thanked him again for having Saget, an “amazing man,” in his life and for being inside him for six years. There is no “greater Christmas present” for him than that.

Including her fans in a lengthy tribute, she wrote, “Sending love and prayers and hopes to you all. And I can’t thank you all enough for almost a whole year for all the love and support, and kindness from everyone.”

The touching gesture from his supporters meant a lot to him as he wrote this in conclusion, adding that he only hopes to show his appreciation and repay the favor from time to time. Attached to the note are four beautiful photos of the couple at The Peninsula, Chicago, posing in different outfits in the foyer and with Christmas decorations in the background.

Fans will remember that since the departure of the “Full House” actor in early January, his grieving widow continues to honor and remember him, recognizing their sacred union.

One of those events was their fourth wedding anniversary celebration on Thursday, October 28, The Blast reported.

Looking back on their wedding in 2018, the May-born producer called it “the most special day” for themselves and their loved ones and promised to cherish the memories forever. Additionally, he shared details of the event on Instagram, revealing that “Tougher Than the Rest” by Bruce Springsteen was their first dance song.
