“Oh my god. When I made a mistake and told the gender of Bey’s baby when she was pregnant with Blue. That was the worst moment. Worst moment ever.”
The moment in question happened in 2011, when Beyoncé was dedicated to hiding her pregnancy until that year’s MTV Video Music Awards. Although the “Single Woman” singer has yet to share the gender of her unborn child, Rowland was surprised during a red carpet interview when asked about her plans for a baby shower gift.
At the time, she replied, “I don’t know…I think her father would give her everything; all I can give him is love.” The Atlanta native went on to say:
“I don’t know what I’m going to buy Beyoncé at her baby shower because Jay is going to buy the little girl every single thing possible. He will not be spoiled, but he will be well cared for.”
