“I’ve been doing this for a decade. I have done work. But the eyeballs on the rest of my life are new, so I give myself a lot of grace.”

The extension of grace is important for the “Heartfirst” hitmaker, who has learned a lot about herself in recent years. In his words:
“I’ve always thought of myself as one thing, a shiny, luscious blonde who sings country music. The “Better Luck Next Time” singer later explained that she and the “Outer Banks” actress have “very similar” traits, including Virgo. He also claims they are “both Labrador Retrievers in human form” who don’t need “too much talking to get on the same page.”
Fans got a first-hand look at the couple’s relationship when the “Just Married” artist surprised them with some sudden PDA during her recent Heartfirst tour. As reported by The Blast, Ballerini was performing a ‘healed version’ of her 2023 breakup song, “Penthouse,” when she paused with a mischievous look.
After a moment of embarrassed grin, he turned and ran towards the corner of the stage where an unsuspecting Stokes was watching the show. Once there, he hugged her and gave her a quick kiss on the lips before returning to continue her performance.
