Kenneth Mathew Sebastian, better known as Kenny Sebastian, is an Indian stand-up comedian, musician and filmmaker. He rose to prominence through a YouTube channel that posted clips of his stand-up comedy shows.

Kenny Sebastian was born on Tuesday, 31 December 1991 (age 28 years; as in 2019) in Kerala. His zodiac sign is Capricorn.
Kenny grew up in a different part of India as his father was a member of the Indian Navy. His family settled in Bangalore after his father’s retirement. He did his schooling from Kendriya Vidyalaya, NAL Campus, Bengaluru and went to Chitrakala Parishath, Karnataka to pursue his Bachelors in Visual Arts. Kenny is a very naughty child. He had a keen interest in film direction from a very young age. He started making his own films when he was only 15 years old. At the time, Kenny didn’t own a camera, so he borrowed one from one of his friends and started filming. While in college, Kenny joined theater and did so for many years.

Career
Kenny Sebastian started his career by making short films. At the age of 23, he has directed 12 short films and 2 feature films. In 2008, he created his YouTube Channel “Kenny Sebastian” and released his first video “9 Hours To Live.” He first parodies and covers popular songs and slowly gained a following.
In 2014, he wrote and directed a season of “The Living Room,” India’s first sketch comedy television show. Kenny started making songs out of tweets, better known as #KennySing4Me. This gained its initial popularity. He has also created an enhanced sketch show for “Comedy Central.”
He co-wrote and starred in the web series “Star Boyz.” He has made special appearances in web series like “Humorously Yours,” “Better Life Foundation,” “Son Of Abish” and “Pushpavalli.” He has the original series “Die Trying” and the sketch comedy show “Sketchy Behaviour” on Amazon Prime Video.
Sebastian has established his own production studio “SuperHuman Studioz”, where he produces content for his YouTube Channel. Kenny hosts a monthly live video blog “Chai Time Comedy With Kenny Sebastian” where he has an interactive chat program with the public. On the show, he also delivers witty observations about routine events.
He has directed Comedy Specials and is one of the judges of “Comicstaan,” a comedy-hunting reality show on Amazon Prime. Kenny performed for popular comedy clubs such as “The Canvas Laugh Club” and “The Comedy Store.” He is associated with “The Polished Bottoms,” a comedy troupe based in Bangalore. Kenny is also part of ‘The Improvisers,’ a group of four comedians that includes Kanan Gill, Kenny Sebastian, Kaneez Surkha, and Abish Matthew.
In January 2017, he embarked on a global cross-country tour with his show “Don’t Be That Guy.” As of 2019, Kenny has done over 500 shows and has performed alongside many popular comedians such as Vir Das, Phil Nichol(UK), Raj Sharma (US, HBO), Imran Yusuf (UK) and Tanmay Bhat from AIB.

I still have 200 to 300 CDs in my house to remind me of this fact.”

I had stage fright at school. My first memory of being cool on stage was when I was in fifth or sixth grade. I felt paralyzed and unable to move. I don’t know why, but for some reason, I always wanted to be on stage. And I used to be disappointed to see other kids do it so easily. So, from sixth to eleventh grade, my goal was to overcome stage fright and for that, I read a bunch of books on how to overcome it. After years of hard work, finally, in 11th grade, I had the courage to give a speech on stage.”
- Kenny started earning money when he was in Class 11 and he became financially independent when he reached his first year in college. After completing his studies, Kenny started earning more than one lakh a month just by doing independent corporate films.
