Kevin Alves loves to skate. Alves progressed through the junior level of the Canadian Domestic Competition program as a young skater. Furthermore, he wanted to join Brazil, his mother’s homeland. He moved to Brazil in 2007. In 2008, Alves participated in the Four Continents Championship, which was held in Goyang, South Korea. He became the first Brazilian men’s singles figure skater to compete at the ISU Championships, finishing 26th.
