A source has spilled the tea on Kevin Costner’s internal marital problems.
New insights from insiders have revealed that the two-time Academy Award winner maintains a busy work schedule that hastened the demise of his relationship with his wife, Christine Baumgartner.
This update comes barely 48 hours after it was confirmed that the stunning model has filed for divorce from the actor after nearly two decades of marriage. The couple welcomed three children – Cayden, Hayes, and Grace, during their 18-year union.

“Christine wanted them to spend time with their family in their Santa Barbara home. During the filming, Kevin was not so much. His absence is very difficult for him.”

As it turned out, the situation left Baumgartner feeling “unhappy” because she didn’t want her husband to “involve himself in another project,” as is his usual style. Unfortunately, things have been taken out of his hands as the father of four has been spending some of his time on the set of “Horizon,” which he began filming last year.
Her husband isn’t helping as another source told the outlet that the “Silverado” actress sometimes lets her career “take precedence over her home life.” They explain:
“Kevin hasn’t been home in a long time due to filming, the popularity of Yellowstone, and time needed for his other projects. He’s got a request.”
Despite allegations of domestic mismanagement, sources close to Costner have since claimed that his wife’s decision to file for divorce surprised him. Per The Blast, one of his friends revealed:

Before the collapse of his marriage, The Blast observed that the bartender of “The Earth Day Special” had listed his sprawling estate as an intended overnight guest. He is very open to accepting $36,000 from clients so they can spend the night at his sprawling property.
The estate, which sits on 160 acres of land, has three houses, 12 bedrooms, eight bathrooms, and two lakes. Other perks include a trapdoor in the master suite that will lead guests to a jacuzzi with a waterfall.
Costner rents the beautiful farm all winter with a team of 24/7 caretakers on site to keep an eye on things. With an Aspen, Colorado property on the market, the actor took himself to a Carpinteria, California estate, where he missed this year’s Golden Globes.
As it turned out, the area had been hit by a huge flood, and he saw no way to escape. In a video explaining the incident and apologizing for his absence, the “3 Days to Kill” star said:
“No one is sadder than us that we can’t be there at the Golden Globes. Chris has beautiful clothes; I can’t wait to walk the red carpet with her. I’m sorry I couldn’t be there. I really want to.”
He was one of the biggest winners of the night, winning the ‘Best Actor in a Drama Series’ category for his role in the Paramount+ series, “Yellowstone.”
