Kevin Hart’s Ex-wife Debunks Feud Between Him And Katt Williams

There’s no beef between comedians Katt Williams and Kevin Hart; at least, according to his ex-wife, Torrei Hart.

Williams, who will be touring with Torrei, sparked controversy after leveling several allegations against Kevin and other comedians on her visit to the “Club Shay Shay” podcast that has gone viral.

Torrei Hart Believes Katt Williams And Kevin Hart Will Work Together

Hart’s ex-wife set the record straight about the situation between Williams and Kevin as she exited the Hollywood Improv on Tuesday evening.

Torrei confirmed that Kevin also joined his 3-night tour with Williams and saw no conspiracy behind it as he and Williams have maintained their friendship for almost 20 years.

Although Torrei and Kevin have been divorced for about 13 years, her ex-partner shared that they are still good friends and might go on tour together if Kevin can’t do most of the work.

Kevin even showed his support for Torrei and Williams, stating that he loves everyone and wants each comedian to succeed especially their planned tour.

Speculation of tension between the three is not far-fetched, as Williams previously described Kevin as an “industrial plant” on Shannon Sharpe’s podcast, among other harsh insults.

The reality star fired back at Williams and told him to get the hate off his chest last Friday when he revealed some interesting facts about Williams during the New York Knicks’ game against the 76ers.

The “Ride Along” star was a guest on “NBA Unplugged” on Friday night as the New York Giants battled Philadelphia’s superstars.

“Another fun fact about the New York Knicks, I don’t know if you know this, but Katt Williams bought the Knicks. And it was rumored that he took the Knicks back and returned them with a receipt,” Kevin said during the game.

dailymail stated that Kevin stated Williams was the first to withdraw and the purchase only lasted 15 days before he returned it. The timing of Williams’ comments seemed suspicious as some sources described it as a publicity stunt for an upcoming tour.

Kevin wasn’t the only one affected by Williams’ wrath. Fellow actor Ice Cube also came under fire when Williams revealed she refused to film a rape scene in the movie “Friday After Next.”

“The problem with Friday After Next is that we’re trying to do a classic comedy, and this comedy involves rape, and rape is never funny, no matter who it happens to or what the circumstances are.” said the joker.

The Blast reported that Williams claimed that she risked her then-burgeoning film career to avoid filming scenes for the 2002 hit comedy that was also her film debut.

Williams plays Money Mike in the film, which is the third installment of the “Friday” franchise, alongside Craig Jones and Chris Tucker’s Smokey Cube as they all try to pay off their debts to drug dealers. Williams continued that he managed to convince the producers that the film was fine without the rape scenes.

However, Cube denied the controversial claims in a nearly 10-minute video in which he emphatically stated that he would never include rape in his films or use sexual abuse as a joke.

“I would never shoot a rape scene in a movie, especially on a Friday, where you actually see this happening on camera. That’s not my style,” said Cube, who added that he doesn’t enjoy filming sexual assault scenes.

The 54-year-old did however confirm that the script for Williams’ character had indeed been tweaked, but only because the film’s producers allowed the actors to put spins on their performances, adding:

“Once we got what we wanted with the script, we let the comedians ad-lib, riff, you know, play with words, and do their thing. We give them two, three takes where they can go and do what that they feel,”

He went on to say that if a rape scene was needed to make the film better, it would have been included regardless of the actor’s opinion.
