Kevin Spacey was truly “humbled” on Wednesday after a jury found him not guilty of multiple sexual assaults on four men between 2004 and 2013.
A London court deliberated for twelve hours and 26 minutes before acquitting him by a majority on all nine charges brought against him. After the decision, it was not easy for Spacey, who is 64 years old, to take the once-in-a-lifetime victory to a very good place and celebrate with friends. And he did just that.
Kevin Spacey Celebrates Release At London Club
The Hollywood star has been cleared of all sexual assault charges, and he stepped out to celebrate his pardon and birthday with friends at London’s Groucho Club, a private members’ venue in Soho on Wednesday night.
The “Baby Driver” actor has been drinking with his friends. “He looked very proud,” said an eyewitness, adding that Spacey sat “by the entrance for everyone to see,” per Page Six.
Another viewer added that the 64-year-old man was with about seven of his friends. “He spent the evening nursing whiskey,” the spy told the outlet before adding, “They didn’t sing ‘Happy Birthday’, but everyone seemed in high spirits.”

Outside the courtroom, the “House of Cards” actor thanked his friends for standing by him after the trial ended. Especially, he appreciates his old friend and manager Evan Lowenstein, who was there at Groucho with him.
When the actor left the club around midnight, he was seen wearing a sweater and casual pants in the rain, shielding himself with an umbrella. Spacey’s rucksack had a “feel good” button on it, and he was in much better spirits than when he cried outside Southwark Crown Court earlier in the day.
Speaking of what happened after a jury acquitted him of all seven counts of sexual assault— and two counts of molestation, The Blast reports Spacey broke down in tears in the dock. The teary-eyed “Beyond the Sea” actress hugged her manager and legal team and thanked the court staff for all they had done.
During the trial and even before, the accused actress was shunned by Hollywood as her case was covered under the MeToo movement. Most of his ongoing shows and film roles were canceled, and he quickly became persona non grata.
Meanwhile, Spacey has always maintained his innocence, denying all accusations of sexual abuse and obscenity, and now, a court of law has cleared his name. His defense team claimed it was done for fame, hinting at extermination fraud.
The “Pay It Forward” actress also told the press that she has a lot to process after what happened today. He expressed his gratitude to the jury and added, “I am humbled by today’s decision.”

As the “Horrible Bosses” actor’s sexual assault trial enters its third week at Southwark Crown Court in the UK, he has taken the stand to appeal his case in an attempt to clear his name. He also had something to say about the prosecution’s case.
ICYMI, an accuser claimed Spacey grabbed her crotch “like a cobra” after meeting her in a West End theater in the mid-2000s and followed up with an alleged “barrage of lewd comments.”
However, when the BAFTA winner took the witness stand on the second day of his defence, he called the complainant’s allegations against him into question, adding that they were false.
He said the accuser “made up his whole story from beginning to end” and labeled the prosecution’s case “weak.” While on stage, the “Se7en” actor said, “I didn’t accept a single word that came out of his mouth.”
When the prosecuting attorney, Christina Agnew KC, asked why the accuser would lie, she replied, “Money, money and then money,” adding: “And I also believe he has, for whatever reason, a grudge against me.”
“I mean, maybe I’m not as pretty as he would have hoped if we’d met that day, and maybe he’s upset about other things about my sexuality,” Kevin Spacey explained.
