Kardashian and Thompson dated for five years and had two children together before they finally split in June 2021. The second child, a boy, was conceived through surrogacy before Thompson’s marriage to Maralee Nichols went public.

Malika Haqq On Khloé Kardashian’s ‘Glory Times’

Haqq appeared on an episode of the Stitcher podcast, “Reality With the King,” (via Us Weekly) on Aug. 24 and praised Kardashian for keeping her head as a mother of two while dealing with Thomason’s ongoing infidelity issues.
According to the 39-year-old, the issues “took away” some of the reality star’s glory days and it was particularly difficult during her early days with her new baby. Haqq said, “I think he’s doing as well as you can expect for someone in his situation.”
He continued, “She’s not the first woman who’s ever had a hard time in a relationship … but there were some moments of glory that were meant to be moments of glory that were taken away from her, and that’s really sad.”

Further in the interview, the former “Hollywood Divas” star revealed that she thinks Kardashian is one of the strongest people she knows, and that she has a lot of faith “She’s really one of the strongest people I know because she has a good head on his shoulders. Faith is something else, and he’s got a lot of it. I’ll tell you that much.”
According to Haqq, watching from the outside was not easy for him; however, he understands that family comes first. She credits Kardashian for keeping her kids out of the drama and making sure they come first.

“We have these kids now … and their fathers are a very complicated part of their lives, and they’re good fathers,” the 39-year-old continued. “What happens with mothers and couples – we can all sit here and say some things shouldn’t happen, but they do, and I think that’s when you have to remind yourself of the priorities, and this baby.”

Khloé Kardashian Has Another Child With Tristan Thompson

Kardashian and Thompson previously dated for five years. They first met in 2016, and by June 2021, they were reportedly separated for good. They share a daughter, four-year-old True, and, most recently, a son through surrogacy.
As reported by Explosion, the reality star shocked fans when it was announced she had another child with Thompson, reportedly pregnant in November last year. The two remained separated after the new baby and did not interact with each other outside of co-parenting.

For the past few years, the “Revenge Body” star has spoken about her desire to grow a family and previously considered IVF to conceive a child. She, however, opted for surrogacy because her doctor revealed that she had a high risk of miscarriage if IVF continued.
Tristan Thompson Involved In Paternity Scandal

While Kardashian recently welcomed a child with Thompson, she was reportedly unaware of his affair at the time, which resulted in a child with another woman. A source revealed at the time, “The baby was conceived via surrogate before it was revealed to Khloé and the public that Tristan was pregnant with someone else in December.”
The mother, Nichols, claims that she met Thompson at a party, and their relationship developed. The affair reportedly took place in March 2021, when he and Kardashian were still together.

Nichols gave birth to her son, Theo, in December and took the former NBA star to court for child support. Thompson confirmed through a paternity test that the child was his and submitted to a court order to pay child support. He also took to social media in early 2022 to publicly apologize to Kardashian for cheating on him.
