The rant started after the “Malcolm & Marie” executive producer shared a photo of himself smiling on Instagram. However, this simple snap caused critics to rain gay allegations on the TV personality.
Addressing the issue, the 39-year-old’s first tweet began, “You know what’s crazy, and makes me question the world we live in, when I post a picture of me smiling on it and there are crazy comments questioning my sexuality flooding in. My page is insulting .”
Cudi concluded, “I feel so bad for you guys. It’s sad out here. Even men can’t smile and not be happy anymore. Smh,” lamented the thinking trolls. “Mr. Rager artist’s words” got the support of some fans, who repeating the same observation.

One said: “It’s crazy because you’re just smiling in the picture, nothing else.” Responding to these comments, the father of one insists he cannot express himself without it becoming a gay agenda.
“I say I’m like a God DAMN cat is SUPER homophobic like GETTING gay everywhere they look, haha,” the media personality written. When a Twitter user misinterpreted his message as hate for the term “gay,” the chart-taker made it clear he wasn’t offended.
“I’m sorry for you, Cudi. I’m sad you think it’s an argument,” the follower’s comment read, prompting another lengthy response from the “Just What I Am” rapper. According to the Cleveland native, she wants to be happy without people turning her happiness into a sexuality debate.
“It’s more about ignorance; I am not insulted. It’s just sad to see people so lame; it’s sad that someone, a man, can’t show joy without having a conversation about their sexuality,” the founder of Wicked Awesome Records demanded.

“People have been calling me gay for years. It is what it is; it never reached this level of f**kery until now,” lamented the Hip-hop star. Recalling his childhood under a strict father, the record producer admits he never had the chance to be “silly” growing up.
“When I was a child, my father was very militant. He never liked us messing around most of the time. He is very strict. It’s almost like being silly is a sign of weakness to him,” the entertainer said revealed.

This isn’t the first time the “Trapped in My Mind” rapper has addressed homophobic remarks on his social media pages. In 2021, the fashion designer was forced to turn off her Instagram comments following hateful messages she received for wearing nail polish.
The criticism began after the father-of-one shared a photo of himself wearing a helmet and holding out his hands to show off his orange and blue manicure. The snap captioned “Mando Cud” shows the performer in awe of her nail art and wanting to share the moment with fans.
However, some of his followers accused Cudi of being interested in same-sex relationships. In response, the founder of the MOTR brand turned off his IG comments and applauded the trolls on his Twitter page.
“Turning off my comments on Instagram. Apparently people have a problem with me painting my nails. I’m tired of blocking so many accounts,” the media personality began, stating that he was not interested in keeping hostile fans.
