Business mogul, Kim Kardashian, opened up to her daughter North West, who she shares with rapper Kanye West, about the night she conceived her in 2012.
The reality star was seen talking about the special day in the Nov. 24 episode of “The Kardashians.” As seen in the footage, Kim tells her daughter that designer Olivier Rousteing may have played a role in North’s existence, revealing that she was wearing a dress he designed the night she got pregnant.
The episode was filmed while Kim was in Paris to attend several fashion shows. The SKIMS founder also shared that he brought North along to learn lessons about finding his passion.

In the latest episode of Hulu’s “The Kardashians,” Kim tells her daughter about the night she was conceived. The reality star shared details as she and North paid a courtesy call at designer Olivier Rousteing’s place in Paris, France.
Speaking candidly about her daughter, who she shares with ex, West, the SKIMS founder explained that she wore a dress from the famous designer the night she got pregnant with him.
North was conceived in 2012, less than a year after Kim began dating the “Donda” hitmaker.
“Northie, I’ve known Olivier since before you were a baby,” Kim told her daughter of her relationship with the famous fashion designer, per E! News.
He added. “And he gave me the blue dress that he wanted for me. It was my birthday the year before you were born, and I wore that dress, and I got pregnant, and you got into my belly the night I wore that dress.”

Although the blue gown clearly lacked the magical power to produce offspring, her dashing appearance may have set the mood for the humpback night that led to the creation of the North.
Kim later admitted that Rousteing may have played a minor role in the series of events that led to the creation of the North.
“So Olivier might have a little something to do with why you’re on this planet,” Kim mused.
For his part, North listened intently to his mother’s story while eating some fries, as seen in the footage.
Kim and Kanye continue to co-parent the nine-year-old and their other children, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm, since the reality star filed for divorce in February 2021 after six years of marriage.

For the event, Rousteing styled the mother-daughter duo in matching black striped fabric, nose rings and oval sunglasses.

Elsewhere in the episode, Kim confessed that there was an underlying reason for taking her daughter to Paris, revealing at the time that she wanted it to be a learning process for North.
“I really want to take North on this journey because I really enjoy what I do,” the mother of four explained in a statement, according to Daily Mail. “And I want my kids to grow up really loving what they do, finding their passion, and figuring out how to make a business out of it.”
Finally, North also had some fun during the trip, as she was seen talking to her mom about the happy crowd chanting her name when she briefly stepped out of their hotel.
“There’s a lot of people for me, and they’re yelling at me,” North told her mother, who was preparing for the Balenciaga fashion show, before mimicking the crowd’s chant.
