The reality megastar was absent from the annual event. Hosts Seth Rogan and Chelsea Handler took a bit of a beating on her busy schedule, but it looks like Kardashian had a real reason to miss the event; his team messed up the date.
follow TMZ, “the wrong event date was given to Kim’s team a few weeks ago” leading to a scheduling conflict. By the time it was set, the busy celebrity was already booked. “The mistake was only realized on Monday and unfortunately, the schedule could not be moved at the last minute due to prior work commitments.”
Kim really wanted to be there. “He was very upset that he couldn’t attend because he never canceled.”

The comedian took the stage and poked fun at Kardashian for her absence. “Are we going to talk about how Kim Kardashian didn’t show up?” he said on stage. “I’ve seen every episode of Keeping Up With the Kardashians, I know she has nothing more important to do than this,” he insisted.
“I’ve seen 100,000 hours of him. I know he doesn’t do anything more important than this. This will be the highlight of the show. What’s he doing?” yikes Rogan doesn’t hold back. “Honestly, he’s probably dealing with a lot right now,” Rogan said, possibly referring to Kanye West and his messy tweets.

No matter where the home movie star is, she rules a room. The operator wants to know where Kim is and wonders if “the extra security outside is for Kim Kardashian.” He cleaned up his joke with another shady joke stating that security was actually there for him because “I’m wearing Marilyn Monroe’s DivaCup.”
The slam was because Kim wore Marilyn’s old dress and admittedly lost 16 pounds from her already petite frame to squeeze it. Kim has done a lot of crazy things in the past but her 16lb weight loss shocked many who believed she was promoting a bad body image.
Kim Kardashian Is Nervous About The Dress

Kim admitted that when she wore the dress, she was afraid of how people would see her. “I was a little nervous some people would hate, and just say, ‘How dare she think she could step into Marilyn’s dress,'” Kim said. “And I understand that,” he claimed.
The dress fit Kim like a glove but apparently, she ruined the vintage dress which we now know wasn’t true, but she was accused of missing beads from the dress. Kim later admitted she only walked the red carpet in the dress.
For the actual event, he wore a replica. But let’s be honest how cool are replicas if people think they are the real thing.
