Kim Kardashian Slammed For ‘Tasteless’ Over-The-Top Halloween Decorations

What Kim Kardashian intended as fun and excitement for her fans turned out to be a drag on Halloween.

The ‘KUWTK’ star was hit with backlash when she uploaded a clip showing off the expensive — and disgusting — decorations she put up in her home as part of her annual Halloween celebration.

While some social media users suggested that the money used for this temporary display should have been donated instead, others found the display distasteful.

On Friday, Kim shared that she’s gone all out in decorating her Calabasas mansion with whimsical decorations. In the video she posted, the mother-of-four’s house is seen lavishly decorated including skeletons, mummified hands, dismembered limbs, fake blood and various other gruesome decorations.

Even the table top has been set to a bloody and expensive look. Despite including a spooky part of Halloween, more than a few followers of the SKIMS co-founder found some problems with the post.

“You’re taking it too far, it’s actually uncomfortable to watch,” one viewer responded in the comments, as another noted, “Waste of money that could have gone to so many things. Wasting. Read the room.”

A third critic stated, “The lack of awareness and compassion is baffling!” and the fourth reads, “Deaf to what some parts of the world are going through, money doesn’t buy sense or morals.”

Likewise, a fifth viewer pointed out, “You’re so out of touch with reality,” and a sixth revealed, “Can’t stand this family. You know how many people you could feed with the money spent on this?”

Drawing parallels between Kim’s chosen decorations and recent deadly events in the news, particularly the Israel-Hamas war and the mass shooting in Maine on Wednesday, one critic claimed that they were “too traumatized by what’s going on in the world right now to think this good.”

At the same time, this person wrote, “This is so ridiculous not to mention tasteless, considering the true horrors going on in the world right now,” as another agreed that the post was “so tone-deaf, tone-deaf and twisted.”

Another critic noted that “people are literally dying now.”

It should be noted that amid the chaos, several people came to Kim’s defense, with one of them typing, “’I don’t understand why people are so mad at this woman for having money. What is he doing [it] is his business. And what happens elsewhere is none of America’s business whether she owes anybody anything, get a grip.”

“Everybody’s talking about his money like they didn’t just spend their car bills on clothes and drinks last night,” commented a second supporter. Regardless of fans siding with her, the former “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star chose to delete the horrific post and replace it with another one.

The mother of four eventually deleted the post and replaced it with a happy announcement a few hours later.
