Kim Kardashian has come under fire for her latest collaboration with an alcoholic beverage brand after telling the world of her decision to stay away from alcohol.
Unsurprisingly, the socialite’s fans wasted no time calling her out for a paid partnership, expressing disapproval of her hypocrisy.

On Thursday, April 20, Kardashian took to Instagram to upload two steamy images of herself dressed in a lacy black ensemble and sitting majestically in an ornate room. One of the slides shows him sitting on a cushioned chair and partially leaning on a table behind him holding a glass of Seventy One gin, a brand he works with.

The media personality uses his left hand to hold the triangular lid of the gin bottle on the table next to the container tray for the drink. In the next picture, she is captured sitting on a table with her legs crossed but still holding a glass cup.
A chandelier can be seen above it while a bottle of gin is placed near it on the table along with the same tray. Opting for emojis and credits, Kim captioned the post by tagging artist Mert Alas and adding a camera emoji, alongside credits to Seventy One gin with a cup of drink emoji.
While over 200k fans showered the update with likes, some took to the comments section to bash the TV icon for pretending to be a gin lover with the feature. “We know you don’t drink, Kim,” said one while a second echoed the same sentiment, writing, “Now kimmy yk you don’t drink.”
A third follower asked, “Wait, are you drinking” while a fourth mocked the collaboration, pointing out that “Kim doesn’t even drink.”
“You don’t even drink alcohol,” another wrote while one joked, “We know you don’t.” A seventh commenter said that the businessman “notoriously doesn’t drink.” And an eighth Instagram user wondered, “Where is 818?” referring to Kim’s sister Kendall Jenner’s tequila brand.

The boozy sharing may have prompted her followers to reminisce about how she struggled to hold back alcohol during her sister Kylie Jenner’s lavish 25th birthday bash in August 2022.
The incident, which was documented on Kylie’s Instagram Stories, showed the celebrity busy opening presents when the SKIMS founder interrupted, asking “does anyone have a picture I can take?”
The question sent the room cheering and hollering — as the mother-of-four is a teetotaler — before the camera showed Kim again, looking shy yet stunning in an orange dress and cheered on by guests.
Towards the end of the video, he is seen in action with the other invitees but it doesn’t go well for him. The young host couldn’t hold back the drink as he spat into the cocktail glass soon after with an expression of disgust.
He tried to speak as he struggled under the influence of alcohol. “So…,” he said, stopping as he coughed and tried to catch his breath.
Kim Called A Hypocrite For Cooking Advertisement
This is not the first time the founder of KKW Beauty has been grilled for being hypocritical with the type of ads he has featured. In November, The Blast reported that fans blasted Kim for pretending like she was cooking for her kids while promoting her vegan Beyond Nuget.
In a clip uploaded for the partnership, she touches on her busy life as a mother and how she looks for “quick and easy options” to feed her family. Unfortunately, the ad received negative notices as critics accused the celebrity of claiming that she actually handles domestic duties in her home.
One fan lashed out, You can support almost any product BUT food and cooking. We all. Know you never lift a finger at a simple domestic task,” one chided. Another sarcastically joked, “Of course Kim cooks for her own kids.”
“As a busy mom… I hire. A cook and a babysitter… multiple actually and then pretend like I gave them these nuggets,” quipped one. This upset fan asked, “What does he think he has a personal chef on hand 24/7 but he gives food tips?”
While this follower advised, “Kim please you have a full time chef…. Leave the nugget ads to the D-list reality stars ?.”
